Dragon Quest Treasures: shared enchanting visuals and a big point on the basics of gameplay

Waiting for the next main episode, Dragon Quest XII: The Flames of Fatethese are two characters from the eleventh part who will make their return at the end of the year in a spin off entitled Dragon Quest Treasures. This Switch single-destination game was dated late June during the Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcasewith the passing of a trailer showing us his gameplay. Square-Enix now returns to the charge by sharing visuals to discover on the next page and by presenting the basics of the game.

Eric and Mia will therefore live an unprecedented adventure in the world of Draconia well before the events of DQXIfollowing the rescue of two spirit guides and the obtaining of mysterious Dragon Daggers. Draconia is a celestial world made up of islands floating in the sky, each with very specific characteristics and monsters associated with each biome. Luckily for our duo, the daggers allow them to communicate with these creatures and they will cooperate with them to find the mystics 7 Dragon Gems. We can choose to control one of the two protagonists, the progress being shared between them, while the special skills of our allies will be used, for example, to move us. A compass called fortune finder will show us the direction of the treasureswhile our monstrous companions will fuss if there’s one around. It will then be necessary to activate the Treasure Visions to see the location where the loot is buried through the eyes of our allies. Once the place is reached, where the ground will start to shine, it will be necessary to dig.

But the adventure will not be limited to that, since rival gangs like the one already seen with the skeleton pirate captain will be able to attack us and try to obtain the treasure before us, it will then be necessary to face them. And only when we get back to basics will we really know what our reward is. The latter can be developed as we get more lootincluding iconic license equipment such as main character weapons and armor.

Note that the names were provided to us in English, so we are not immune to many changes as in most VFs of DragonQuest.
