License DragonQuest blew its 36th candle last month, not enough to make it a big event, but an anniversary that was still wanted to celebrate Square-Enix and Yuji Horii by sharing a short video. We learned there that Dragon Quest Treasures would be entitled to more information in June and a teaser had been released to keep us waiting. With the month ending, it seemed strange not to have heard from him, but it was to better make his comeback during the Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase.
Until now, the publisher had never mentioned a host platform for this project, which will therefore be apparently exclusive at least temporarily to the Switch, on which it is dated December 9, 2022 for a worldwide release. This RPG developped by Tose will make us embody Erik and Mia from Dragon Quest XI: Fighters of Destiny in an adventure set during their childhood. They will be transported to a magical realm called Draconiaa paradise for treasure seekers, where they will be accompanied by Purrsula, Pigs and a whole bunch of other monsters within their team. The confrontations will take place without transition, while the abilities of our companions will be used to flush out and reach the treasures.
If you’re interested in finding out what happens to their adult version, Dragon Quest XI: Fighters of Destiny is always for sale on Amazonespecially on Switch.
