Thanks to its solid RE Engine, Capcom allows us to experience a great adventure in Dragon’s Dogma 2. The thing is even more telling with full graphics settings and some visual additions.
Once again, Digital Dreams allows us to explore the latest big games of the moment in their most beautiful guise. In this 8K video, it is with Dragon’s Dogma 2 that the famous YouTube channel takes us on a nice walk in the woods.
The great adventure of Dragon’s Dogma 2
To feast the eyes, it is not essential for a game to be a graphical benchmark. A beautiful artistic direction can be more than enough, as FromSoftware proved to us with Elden Ring. Speaking of an open world breathing freedom, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is the most recent good example in this area. Without having textures that explode the retina, the game displays vast landscapes that are enchanting enough to make us eager to explore them.
Thanks to its usual tricks, Digital Dreams shows us this in a very pleasant ride in 8K. We see the game with the graphics settings pushed to the limit, Ray Tracing included. Everything is further enhanced by the ReShade which earned the channel its popularity: Beyond All Limits. With this nice combo, the already shimmering lighting effects of Dragon’s Dogma 2 gain even more visual quality. Be careful though, part of the video slightly spoils an important element of the story. If you want to keep yourself surprised, avoid watching it from the eighth to the tenth minute.
Required Draconic Equipment
Unfortunately, Dragon’s Dogma 2 still lacks optimization at this time. Patches are just starting to arrive in this direction. The technical part of the game is therefore a little more demanding than it should be. To run it smoothly in 8K, Digital Dreams therefore has very high-level equipment. Count on an RTX 4090 graphics card, a Ryzen 9 7950x processor and 32 GB of DDR5 6000 MHz RAM. A powerful SSD like the Samsung 970 EVO is also required.
