Dragon’s Dogma 2: the sequel finally confirmed (and that’s it)!

After extension Darth Arisen and the series on netflixfranchise Dragon’s Dogma could have stopped there. But the players discovered with interest the possible arrival of a Dragon’s Dogma 2 as part of a leaked that sticks to the boots of Capcom as the projects he listed were confirmed.

Inevitably, when the publisher unveiled a site and then a special live broadcast video for the 10th anniversary of the license, there was reason to suspect something, and rightly so. Director Hideaki Itsuno took advantage of the event to review the history of the short saga and the qualities of theAction RPG solo, before to formalize this famous Dragon’s Dogma II.

And ? And that’s all ! The team simply took off their jackets to reveal a t-shirt with the name of the game on it, saying that this one was in developmentbut not the least trailer has not been broadcast. the official site is just as laconic, with the simple mention “Confirmed” affixed next to the logo. After so much waiting, this is bordering on farce, but it may also mean that the project is not that far along, much to the dismay of fans.

While waiting for pre-orders to open, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is available from €19.90 on Amazon.co.uk.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is the latest title in the series, and the first mainline entry since the release of the first Dragon’s Dogma in 2012. The game is currently in production, and with a development environment that takes advantage of Capcom’s proprietary RE ENGINE, it’s sure to satisfy both newcomers as well as long-time fans. Details regarding game content and release date will be shared at a later date.

Update : the press release simply adds that Dragon’s Dogma 2 (this will be its official spelling) is developed with the REEngine.
