Drake (35) had to cancel a concert in Toronto on Monday. The rapper has been infected with the corona virus. Shared in an Instagram story the Canadian shared the disappointing news with his fans.
“I am deeply shocked that I have to tell you that I have tested positive for Corona,” admits Drake disappointed. He promises to make up for the concert he noticed at the “earliest possible time”. He capitalizes the word “as soon as possible”. “I will keep the city informed and will announce the timing as soon as it is determined.”

The canceled gig is the third and last concert of his festival “October World Weekend”. On Thursday he performed with a number of Canadian rappers. According to his own statement, the guest stars paved the way for him. Compatriot Nelly Furtado (43) also stopped by. On Friday he shared the stage with US colleagues Chris Brown (33) and Lil Baby (27).
Lil Wayne (39) and Nicki Minaj (39) were supposed to perform at the canceled gig on Monday. This would have resulted in a reunion of “Young Money”. Lil Wayne founded the project in 2009.
Drake has contracted Corona for the second time. The virus caught him for the first time in the summer of 2021. According to Drake, hair loss should also have been one of the after-effects.
