Dramatic scenes took place on Saturday evening on a farm in Waldkirchen am Wesen. A two-year-old girl was almost crushed by a roller blind – when she was found, the toddler was no longer breathing. After resuscitation, she was taken to the children’s hospital.
The exact circumstances of the accident were initially unclear, but the following was known: A two-year-old girl had been trapped by a roller blind – a roll-up curtain. When the toddler was found at around 6:55 p.m., she was no longer breathing. At 7:23 p.m., resuscitation attempts were made by the team from the emergency helicopter “Christophorus 10”. These were apparently successful, as the injured girl was then flown to the children’s hospital in Linz.
