The tightness of the staircase made things even more difficult: the couple had to be rescued from the apartment on the first floor by the Kindberg fire brigade using a turntable ladder. After emergency medical first aid, the man and woman were taken to different hospitals by rescue helicopter. According to the police, both Styrians are in mortal danger.
