Drawing doodles is not that difficult. Here you will find inspiration – everything from flowers to comics is represented.

Did you know that today’s March 30th is “Pencil Day”? This day of action is a good reason to pull out your pencil again and pay tribute to it with a few drawings ?.

These are doodles

The English term Doodle means something like scribble or scribble in German. Maybe you know doodles from making phone calls and your little scribble works of art that were created on the side … So a doodle is not about the perfect drawing!

The little doodles don’t have to be particularly filigree and elaborate. They are often an accessory and decoration in bullet journals and give journals & Co. a personal touch due to their imperfection! So these sketches are definitely suitable for beginners. Doodles are not only shapes, such as hearts or stars, but also figures, frames, arrows, patterns or banners.

Materials for your sketches

In principle, you are well equipped with paper and a pencil! So you can try your hand at first and possibly make small corrections with an eraser. If you feel confident in drawing, you can also use a fineliner or your pre-painted drawings. If you want, you can color them in later. If you don’t just want to capture the sketches on paper, you may need special pens (e.g. porcelain painter).

Where can I use doodles?

Of course, doodles are not only popular when talking on the phone or in boring meetings. They go with:
