How to store your clothes?

To put your spring in order, Élodie advises not to separate summer and winter, but rather to make piles of clothes with one in front, one behind. There are indeed pieces that are put on during both seasons. And then the fact of putting your clothes in a box for a season does not allow you to wonder about the frequency with which they are worn. To save time in the morning, make outfits that you know you’ll feel good in and that show off your cut like color. Another tip: if it’s fun, take a picture of 3 or 4 outfits ideal for different occasions and hang them on your closet door. The day the event occurs, no stress, you already know what to wear!

How to organize your fridge?

Let’s move on to the storage of the kitchen and in particular, the organization of the main pantry: the fridge!
Put away your fridge, what for? Because this is the perfect opportunity to take stock of your diet, to know what to change, what to keep. “It’s very important for energy”, emphasizes Élodie Boulard. How to organize your fridge properly? First method, make categories of shelves and bins by food groups (respecting the cold levels of the appliance, the bottom being the least cold). This allows you to see at a glance what is missing, but also to compose balanced menus easily by providing the right amount of each family of food.

Another tip, that of the plastic bins, which can be used to prepare vegetables and fruits in advance: grapes already cleaned, carrots in sticks… Great for snacking healthy and recipes that take less time to cook when needed. Of course, upstream, Élodie strongly advises to completely empty her fridge to clean it. “This makes it possible in particular to take stock of these expired foods that we will stop buying”, she suggests.

How to tidy up your desk?

If you work from home, Élodie recommends having a dedicated office, “even small, even who folds”. It is essential to have a precise space, in order to be able to stay focused. The biggest thing to do in general when you tidy up your desk is sorting out the papers. “Take all the papers lying around and put them together on a table”, Elodie offers us. Seeing them all allows you to realize how much you will probably keep. Then, it’s up to you to sort, archive, classify … and throw away! Then, whether you choose a briefcase or a filing cabinet, put your archived papers in it with the idea of “give a container to the object, so that it has its place and does not overflow”, says Émilie. Do not forget the digital aspect of this large storage: also delete your old mails and spam, by emptying the recycle bin. For other emails, Élodie simply advises you to go to a specific and old year in your mailbox, then to delete all the emails concerned. “Do you say that at worst, there is no death of a man, we can always ask for more information” if we deleted an email by mistake, reassures Élodie.
