Drew Barrymore got a tattoo on camera. The meaning of her tattoo moves the actress to tears.

Get a new tattoo in front of the camera? Apparently no problem for Drew Barrymore (46). The Hollywood actress had the sentence “Home is where we are” tattooed on the latest episode of her US talk show of the same name. The importance of the work of art made her so emotional that she even shed tears. “My eyes burn because I cried so much,” she explains after the action in an Instagram video.

“I want people to know: No matter where they end up in the world, if they are lucky enough to love someone … then it is so fulfilling. I never knew what it was like to have a home until I had my daughters, “says Barrymore enthusiastically about her two children Olive (8) and Frankie (7), whom she has with ex-husband Will Kopelman (42). “I thought at the time that I would make a home for us that would be forever and so strong. But then life and our plans changed,” explains Barrymore, referring to her divorce from Kopelman in 2016.

Afterwards, she would have lived in rental apartments with her daughters. That Barrymore could not implement the plans for her children made her sad at the time. “That led to the realization of what a home really means to me. It means: wherever we are together, this is our home.”
