Drew Barrymore describes herself as a "hopeless romantic" but now explains why she has been single for five years.
Drew Barrymore (45, "Charlie's Angels") has no place in her life for men. On her talk show "The Drew Barrymore Show" she talked to actress Jane Fonda (82, "Book Club – The best is yet to come") about the fact that she did not have the "capacity for a new relationship" since her third divorced in 2016. "I've abstained from men for five years." Barrymore is open to love, but she "never wants to marry again".
No marriage, but affairs?
Fonda, who recently said that she had sworn off men, thought that Barrymore was too young for that: "You're too young, you have to be open to everything, Drew. I'm old, it's easy, things forsake off like undressing, even in candlelight. " Barrymore talked about her busy life and that she had no place for men in it, to which Fonda replied: "You can put one or the other affair in between, you have my support."
Barrymore told the US magazine "People" last week that she was "a hopeless romantic". "Everyone on this planet needs love in some form," the actress admitted to herself, but one thing was clear to her: "Never. Never, never- I will never get married again." Barrymore married for the last time in 2012, and her marriage to Will Kopelman (42) had two children, Frankie (born 2014) and Olive (born 2012).
