Sure, a glass of champagne is a bit decadent, but also something fine. Sparkling, fresh, delicious: And it can do a lot more …

“More” is exactly the right keyword here. We would have loved to – ignored birthdays, weddings & Co. – take a sip of the bubbling water more often, “that tingled so nicely into our …” – oh no, that’s not true, that was the beer . Anyway: “Drink more Champagne” is the motto! And now not only because champagne doesn’t stain red wine – hahaha, how funny – but because the noble drink has other advantages. We are happy to explain that a little more precisely so that we can soon all surf the bubbly fountain together.

1. Champagne fresh in your head

Well, so that the whole thing does not turn around, you should of course not overdo it with the consumption. So much in advance. But according to a study by the UK’s Reading University, the fizzy favorite drink of high society protects against dementia and Alzheimer’s diseases. The perfect dose: three glasses a day. Wonderful, then we now know what to treat ourselves to with every meal.

2. Flatters the curves

Piña Colada, Aperol Spritz & Co quickly break the calorie account with up to 500 calories per glass. Champagne is much more flattering: with 80 calories per glass, champagne is by no means a skinny bitch, but at least it is close to the diet drink with a spin.

3. Champagne makes a difference

A glass of Veuve Clicquot in your hand looks a bit fancy: at least for women who do not want to be addressed primarily by planned history students, champagne can mean one or the other flirtation advantage.

4. A glass always works, always fits

Moet, Pommery, Ruinart & Co. just always work! Champagne goes well with breakfast, brunch, coffee and cake as well as in the bar in the evening. Not only delicious, but also uncomplicated. Good mix, right?

5. Highly praised and loved by everyone

Many – more or less – wise words from remarkable personalities have already been lost about the fine sparkling wine, as this small selection shows:

“I only drink champagne on two occasions: when I’m in love and when I’m not.”

Coco Chanel

“After the win you deserve it, after the defeat you need it.”

Napoleon Bonaparte

“Champagne gives you the feeling that every day is a Sunday!”

Marlene Dietrich

“I drink champagne when I am happy and when I am sad. Sometimes I drink it when I am alone; and when I have company, then it must not be missing. If I am not hungry, I whet my appetite with it and when I’m hungry I enjoy it. Otherwise I don’t touch it unless I’m thirsty. “

Lily Bollinger

“Champagne is probably the happiest source of inspiration.”

Mark Twain

“At some point there comes a moment in every woman’s life when the only thing that helps is a glass of champagne.”

Kathrine Marlowe

We’ll buy champagne, then at the end of the day it will be what we like best: refreshingly ice-cold! So, dear ones, treat yourself and enjoy the tingling sensation!
