Drink stolen – Tyrol: clumsy gas station robber caught

This robbery wasn’t really worth it for an 18 year old Syrian! First, the man armed with a blank pistol only stole a drink bottle from a gas station in Kufstein, Tyrol. Now he was caught by the police and is now in prison.

Shock for a gas station employee (63) on Thursday evening in Kufstein in Tyrol! The unknown person, disguised with a scarf, a peaked cap and a hood, stormed into a gas station shop in Kufstein at around 10:20 p.m. on November 9th and threatened the employee (63) with a weapon. But when the shocked woman reflexively moved to the side, the clumsy perpetrator quickly left the gas station. All he was able to steal was a drink bottle that he had left in the checkout area. According to investigators, the employee was not injured in the incident, but suffered shock. Probably for this reason, she didn’t report the robbery to her boss until the day after. A comprehensive confession was made. Now, a week later, the police were able to track down the suspected gas station robber and he was arrested by LKA officers. “The 18-year-old Syrian made a full confession during his interrogation,” the police said. The murder weapon and clothing items from the attack were confiscated. The man was taken to the Innsbruck prison by order of the public prosecutor.
