On Wednesday evening a police patrol in Graz’s Keplerstrasse became aware of a vehicle with a defective headlight. When the officers tried to stop the vehicle, the unknown driver accelerated the vehicle and drove away.
At around 9:15 p.m., the police officers tried to stop the vehicle. The driver then drove away to the north. During the chase, the unknown fugitive drove at extremely high speed and came dangerously into the area of a sidewalk. Finally the driver stopped the vehicle in the middle of Wienerstrasse and ran away in an unknown direction. The co-driver (16), who also fled, was caught after a short pursuit. There were still three girls aged 14 and 15 in the car. In the course of the surveys, it was found that the car was not allowed to drive. In addition, stolen license plates were attached to the vehicle. The investigation has not yet been completed.
