The driver of a moped car was noticed by police officers in Anif on Tuesday because of his conspicuous driving style. During the check, the 22-year-old driver admitted to having smoked a joint before starting the journey.
On the B150 in Anif, the police officers became aware of the moped car. During the control, a drug test for cannabis and synthetic substances struck. The 22-year-old from Flachgau said he smoked a joint two hours before driving away. Due to a mental illness, the driver had also taken various medications. The officials forbade him to continue driving and took the Flachgauer’s driver’s license away. On Tuesday evening, the police also caught a 21-year-old drug driver in Anif who had consumed cannabis and cocaine. A few hours earlier, officials in the city of Salzburg caught a 41-year-old from Vorarlberg who had also consumed cannabis.
