Driver’s license lost – accident when pulling out of a parking space: driver with 3.1 per mille

While pulling out of a parking space in front of a hotel in Bad Hofgastein, a driver hit a parked car with her car. A witness observed this and reported it to the police. When the officers arrived, the driver in question had difficulty taking the alcohol test: also because she had a blood alcohol level of 3.1 per mille.

It took two blowing attempts on Thursday evening before a good and usable result was achieved. But the woman, a local woman (41), behaved anything but cooperatively and ultimately refused to cooperate with the official act, according to the police. Her driver’s license was confiscated at the scene of the accident. That same evening, police officers in the city of Salzburg were able to stop another drunk driver: a man from Flachgau (60) had 1.4 per mille in his blood. He said he had drunk three to four beers and believed he was still allowed to drive. In addition to having his driver’s license taken away, he was reported.
