A 77-year-old from Pongau did not observe the speed limit on the public holiday: he raced along the road at 156 km/h on the rain-soaked road between Stegenwald and Tenneck. Shortly afterwards he even accelerated to 190 km/h.
The police carried out speed checks on the B159 between Golling andwerfen on the public holiday. They noticed a Pongauer who was ignoring the speed limit. The 77-year-old was driving at a speed of 156 km/h with a speed limit of 70. A few kilometers further, the police were even able to measure 190 km/h with a permitted speed of 100 km/h. The officers took the Pongauer’s driver’s license on the spot. It is displayed.
