(CercleFinance.com) – Drone Volt announces that it has won a first current service contract with “a major European company in the energy sector” over the next three years.
This is the first commercial success of the ‘Drone as a Service’ offer based on billing for use and not for the possession of drones, says the company.
Drone Volt is thus entrusted with inspection missions by drones to determine the maintenance operations to be carried out, then ensure the compliance checks of these operations.
In detail, the contract is accompanied by a firm period of 12 months and two optional additional years. Each 12-month period should generate a substantial turnover of several hundreds of thousands of euros, specifies the company.
