Drone Volt: recovery of accounts and issue of BSA – 03/16/2022 at 6:05 pm

(AOF) – Drone Volt presented a markedly improved financial performance for 2021. The net loss fell from -6.67 million euros in 2020 to -1.26 million euros between 2021. The gross operating surplus followed the same trend at -864,000 euros against 2.03 million euros in 2020. “Operating expenses remained almost stable over the 2021 financial year, despite the increase in activity over this period and the end of government aid measures to reduce expenses granted at the start of the health crisis “, underlines the group.

Consolidated turnover reached a record level of 8.6 million euros, up 48% year-on-year.

Drone Volt announces that the Board of Directors has decided to issue 19.5 million BSA (share subscription warrants) for the benefit of the company’s strategic partners and creditors, as part of an issue carried out with cancellation shareholders’ preferential subscription rights and reserved for a category of persons. The subscription price for one BSA was €0.00375 and corresponds to the value of the BSA as calculated by an independent external firm.

The Board of Directors has also decided to allocate 11.75 million free BSPCE5 (business creator share subscription warrants) to certain eligible employees, members of the Board of Directors and managers of the group.

The theoretical impact of the exercise of all BSA and BSPCE on the situation of a shareholder holding 1% of the share capital is 0.9267%.

The Middle East ESC

Still relatively unknown compared to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the Gitex (Gulf Information Technology Exhibition) in Dubai has existed since 1981 and attracts around 100,000 visitors a year. Even if it wants to compete with the CES in Las Vegas, and the region is a very tech-savvy market, the Gitex remains, despite its internationalization, still a regional hub for technology. The CES makes it possible to cover the United States, North America and Europe at the same time, while the Gitex rather covers the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. In 2021 this event took place at the same time as the World Expo in Dubai. France was the second most represented country, behind Italy.
