A 48-year-old Carinthian threatened his wife with killing him in the house they shared on Saturday night. The woman was so scared that she immediately called the police.
The man was drunk and there was a dispute between his 50-year-old wife and him. This escalated so that the 48-year-old from Völkermarkt threatened to kill his wife. “The 50-year-old was so frightened and uneasy that she immediately called the police,” the officials announced. The man was immediately banned from entering and approaching, as well as a provisional ban on weapons. The man had no weapons with him. He is reported to the public prosecutor’s office in Klagenfurt and the BH Völkermarkt.
