Not long before Germany celebrates its new superstar. Out of thousands of applicants, seven gold throats have prevailed. Joshua Tappe, Chiara D'Amico, Lydia Kelovitz, Ramon Kaselowsky, Ricardo Rodrigues, Paulina Wagner and Marcio Pereira Conrado made it into the live shows. So far, the following always applied: in casting and recall, the candidates have to convince the jury. From the live shows, however, the decision is in the hands of the audience. With their calls, they can take their favorites to the next round. But now RTL has mixed up the live shows according to a long tradition. As the? In three of four of the live shows, Dieter Bohlen, Oana Nechiti, Pietro Lombardi and Xavier Naidoo are also allowed to vote for their favorite.
"The Golden CD"
The magic word is: "Golden CD". The jury may award this trophy to their favorite – immediately after the performance. They must not abstain. And what can this mysterious CD do? As "rtl.de" reports, this symbolizes a five percent share of the vote, which is offset against the caller's votes of the viewers. That means not only the fans, but also the jury has a say on the way to the final.
However, the judges are no longer allowed to vote in the finals themselves – everything stays the same. Verbally, Dieter Bohlen and Co. can of course add their mustard, but the rest is entirely in the hands of the audience.
