First insights into the new season

At the beginning of 2022, “DSDS” starts its 19th season on RTL. The station has released the first recordings.
Fans of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” don’t have to wait long for the new season. On Saturday, January 22nd, 2022, RTL will start at 8:15 p.m. (also on RTL +) with the opening sequence. In addition to the show master and all-round talent Florian Silbereisen (40), the jury also includes the Dutch singer Ilse DeLange (44) and music producer Toby Gad (53). Pop titan Dieter Bohlen (67) will no longer be there, as it became known in spring.
The jury also plays with “DSDS”
the Sender shows first insights in a short clip on its homepage in the meanwhile 19th season of “DSDS”. This shows, among other things, that the jury members will also be making music – DeLange on guitar, Silbereisen on accordion and Gad on piano. “Ilse, Toby and I, we stand by your side and we are there for you – this is also the new ‘DSDS'”, Silbereisen promises the candidates according to RTL.
This time, the young musical talents had to present their skills in a glass cube at the castings – on the marketplaces in Wernigerode and Burghausen. There will be 13 casting episodes in the new season, two of them also on Tuesdays (January 25 and February 1). Then come the recall episodes and at the end there are four live shows.
