After a positive corona test in the team, there was an interruption in the jury castings of “DSDS”. But the break is only short.

The jury castings for the new season of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” were briefly interrupted. In Burghausen, Florian Silbereisen (40), Ilse DeLange (44) and Toby Gad (53) “surprisingly had to take a break because there was a positive corona test” within the “DSDS” team, reports “RTL.de”. In order to guarantee the safety of everyone involved, the “Superstar” castings were paused for a day.

The health department has meanwhile given the all-clear, it continues: “The person concerned is vaccinated and the viral load is due to an infection in the spring. There is no risk of infection, so the casting can be continued the following day.”

Special castings

For the upcoming “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” season (also at TVNow) the castings, after Wernigerode now in Burghausen, take place for the first time in a specially designed glass cube. Interested passers-by should have the opportunity to take a look at the set and the new “DSDS” jury. “I think it’s great that the new DSDS is going out on the marketplaces! We’re in the middle of the city! Everyone can come by, watch – and take part!”, Says Silbereisen, who is celebrating his 40th birthday today, August 4th.
