The 19th season of “DSDS” started on Saturday evening. Right from the start, a 17-year-old singer inspired new juror Florian Silbereisen.
At the start of the 19th season of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” the 17-year-old Abigail Nova Campos took care on Saturday evening (January 22nd, also at RTL+) for a first goosebump moment. The singer, who has been a member of a gospel choir for years, convinced the jury with an interpretation of Demi Lovato’s “Anyone”. With Ilse DeLange (44) she caused tears, Toby Gad (53) got enthusiastic and Florian Silbereisen (40) even awarded his first golden CD. “Incredible, incredibly good, I’m looking forward to everything that’s to come,” said the hit star enthusiastically.
This puts Abigail in the top 25 and seeded for the overseas recall. With her, these candidates also made it into the foreign recall in the first jury castings: The brothers Harry and Gianni Laffontien, Din Omerhodzic and Melissa Mantzouki.
