Leony is now officially the third member of the next and last DSDS jury.

Now it’s official: Singer Leony will support Dieter Bohlen and Pietro Lombardi in the “DSDS” jury in the anniversary season.
Now it’s official: singer Leony (25) will take a seat alongside Dieter Bohlen (68) and Pietro Lombardi (30) in the anniversary season of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”.
It has long been rumored that the musician will be there. Well she gave made a statement to RTL itself. In a video she says: “I’m really happy to be able to be part of the last season of ‘DSDS’.” However, she has not really processed the news herself: “It’s still so unreal for me, I still can’t believe it, to be honest!”
Confirmation came via SMS from Dieter
In the video, the singer also reports how she found out about her job: via SMS from Dieter Bohlen himself. “I got a message from Dieter on my cell phone with the words: ‘So, now it’s fixed. Welcome to ‘DSDS’, best wishes, Dieter’. When you read this message, of course everything is over.”
She didn’t even know how to react, “because there were so many emotions at once.” As a five-year-old she had already followed the first season of “DSDS”, in 2014 she herself was a participant in the RTL casting show “Rising Star”. Accordingly, it is a “huge honor” to sit next to the boys on the jury.
Everyone already knows each other
Leony already knows both men personally, as she further reports. She worked with Bohlen on the song “Brother Louie” and she “flew to him in Malle” to shoot the video. And she was already in the studio with Pietro.
It is not yet clear whether a fourth person will join the jury trio. Yesterday Thursday had the Online edition of the “Bild” reportst that rapper Shirin David (27) rejected an alleged record fee for the job in the farewell season.
