Duchess Camilla had the Jordanian Queen Rania show her a family center. Apparently the two get along well.

The first big trip by Duchess Camilla (74) and Prince Charles (73) since the pandemic takes the two royals through the Middle East. After the couple was received by the Jordanian King Abdullah II (59) and his wife in the Jordanian capital Amman on Tuesday, Queen Rania (51) and the Duchess went to an appointment for two.

Visit to the family and children’s center

The photos show Queen Rania sitting at the wheel of a Tesla, next to her Duchess Camilla. The two attended a family and children’s center. In an interview with the ITV broadcaster At the meeting, the Queen explained that child abuse and violence against women were taboo in Jordan and the region until two decades ago.

Further pictures show how the two royal women try out the activities offered in the center with clay or have something explained about food. In other snapshots, they stand across from each other and hold hands smiling.

Words of praise for the royals

In the interview, the Queen also expressed her respect for the British royals. Prince Charles is a role model in the fight for the planet and someone “who has been talking about this topic for so long”. The Queen is a person “whom we value very much”, who inspires the rest of the world and whom she looks up to personally.
