As an enthusiastic dancer, Duchess Camilla would like to take part in a corresponding TV show – if it weren't for the royal protocol.

Duchess Camilla (73) is apparently a fan of the TV show "Strictly Come Dancing". A special honor and great joy for her: On Saturday (December 19th) she is to appear in the final broadcast of the British counterpart to "Let's Dance". As "The Sun" reports, the wife of Prince Charles (72) will address the audience as well as the production team and the dancers on site in two pre-recorded video clips. Her concern: Above all, she wanted to express her thanks to those involved who provided a little encouragement in times of the pandemic.

The collaboration between the BBC and the Duchess had been decided "long before filming began", "The Sun" quotes an insider who was not named. The 73-year-old was enthusiastic about the idea of being allowed to take part in the show – even if only via video message. "Camilla said it was always her dream to appear on the show, but royal protocol probably wouldn't allow it." Instead, the royal would have watched the dance competition on TV and diligently voted for their favorite every week.
