Duchess Camilla: Your face mask sends a strong message

Duchess Camilla deliberately opted for a floral face mask for her recent visit to Westminster Abbey.

Prince Charles (71) and Duchess Camilla (73) visited Westminster Abbey in London on Wednesday (October 11) to commemorate the fallen soldiers in World War I on Remembrance Day. The couple appeared dressed in black, only the infected, artificial poppy blossoms set a colored accent. The Duchess of Cornwall also added a face mask to her outfit, which took up the floral pattern again. A fashionable and strong statement.

It was not the first time that the wife of the heir to the British throne had worn the same flower mask. She had already worn them last week to mark the opening of the memorial garden on the grounds of Westminster Abbey. The poppy is supposed to remember and honor those who died in the war.
