Little Mila wanted to meet a real princess once in her life. Duchess Kate made this wish come true.

That was probably an unforgettable day for Duchess Kate (39)! The wife of Prince William (38) now fulfilled a little girl’s big dream of one day seeing a princess in a pink dress. Mila Sneddon (4) had to live in isolation from her father during the first corona lockdown in Great Britain. The little girl was in chemotherapy for her leukemia at the time, but her dad still had to go to work. The Duchess was so touched by her story that she invited her to the castle in Edinburgh. On her official Instagram account a video of the meeting was posted.

While the children’s anthem “Let It Go” from the Disney hit “The Ice Queen” is played in the background, an employee of the Royals leads the four-year-old and her mother through the estate of Queen Elizabeth II (95). Both Kate and Mila wear dresses in different shades of pink when they meet. “I would like to hug you very tightly,” said the Duchess to the girl, but kept to the currently applicable Corona rules with a mask and distance.

Mila is part of Kate’s photo book project

Several months ago, Kate spoke to Mila on the phone, it says under the video. A photo that shows Mila and her father separated by a window pane was selected for Kate’s photo book project “Hold Still”. The illustrated book, which was published on May 7, 2021, includes photos showing Great Britain during the 2020 corona pandemic.
