At the end of a campaign to draw attention to the work of nurses, Duchess Kate thanks her for “unbelievable work”.
Duchess Kate (39) thanks in a video message posted on May 24th for the self-sacrificing commitment of all nurses around the world. The clip marks the end of the “Nursing Now” campaign, which was used to highlight the work of health workers. Kate was the campaign patron.
“Devotion and Infinite Care”
“When ‘Nursing Now’ was launched in 2018, we had no idea how much the work, dedication and infinite care of nurses would be examined, needed and recognized,” explains the Duchess. The corona pandemic has highlighted the important role that nurses “on whom we all rely” play.
If you look at the “enormous sacrifice” and what is required of the helpers on a personal level, this only shows even more how extraordinary the services rendered during the pandemic are. The “toughest year” was behind them and Kate wanted to express her “heartfelt thanks to you and all your colleagues around the world for the incredible work you do every day.”
