Duchess Kate: With a face mask and smock in the laboratory

Duchess Kate shows commitment. To find out more about preventing miscarriages, she put on the gown herself.

The way of Duchess Kate (38) led on Wednesday (October 14th) to the Institute for Reproductive and Developmental Biology at Imperial College London. Armed with a smock and a face mask, the mother of three children and the wife of Prince William (38) paid a visit to the research facility to find out about work to prevent miscarriages and stillbirths. Pictures on Instagram record the encounters of the Duchess of Cambridge.

How can scientific research reduce miscarriage rates? What support do couples and families in the UK receive who have suffered such a fate? Duchess Kate would like to give answers to these questions as part of the "Baby Loss Awareness Week". She also speaks to medical professionals, national charities and those affected.
