Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry have hired a bodyguard who once protected Kim Kardashian (right).

Prince Harry and his wife let a new man protect them. He knows showbiz: In 2016 he worked for Kim Kardashian.
Prince Harry (38) and Duchess Meghan (41) have apparently hired reality star Kim Kardashian’s (42) bodyguard. The British “Sun” reports. The couple had previously relied on celebrity-experienced personal protection: in California, they were guarded by a bodyguard who used to work for Michael Jackson (1958-2009).
The bodyguard worked for Kim Kardashian in 2016
A day after the coronation of her father-in-law, King Charles III. (74), the Duchess of Sussex was hiking with friends in Montecito. A man wearing sunglasses can be seen behind her in the photos. According to the British tabloid, this is a bodyguard who used to work for Kim Kardashian.
The newspaper substantiates this with photos from 2016 that show the two together. He is said to have worked for the reality star before and after the robbery in Paris. At a hotel in the French capital, Kardashian was ambushed and robbed by several men at gunpoint.
The couple must take care of their own security
Harry and Meghan have been paying for their own safety since they left the British royal family in 2020. In their adopted home of California, they are said to have had various bodyguards on duty in recent years. Most recently, they separated from former Michael Jackson protector Alberto Alvarez (46). They are said to have had concerns over allegations of drunk driving and domestic violence.
Harry and Meghan have to dig deep into their pockets to protect their family: elite bodyguards can cost up to $1,800 (about $1,640) per day.
Unlike her husband, the Duchess had not flown to Britain for the coronation. She stayed at home with their two children Archie (4) and Lilibet (1). On the coronation day she celebrated her son’s birthday in Montecito, the next day she was seen hiking.
