During the Corona crisis, Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry especially enjoy the time together with son Archie, as they now tell.
In a special edition of "TIME100 Talks", a virtual series of talks by the magazine, Duchess Meghan (39) and Prince Harry (36) act as moderators. In the two-hour event with the additional title "Engineering A Better World", which can be seen on YouTube, the Duchess and Duke of Sussex will discuss with authors, experts, journalists and online developers about digital experiences and how to "create a more compassionate, safer and more trustworthy digital world. At the beginning, however, the focus is on little son Archie (18 months).
"More time than family"
When asked how the couple is doing during the Corona crisis, Duchess Meghan replies: "All in all, everyone is struggling with a different version of the same thing, and for us it's all about the time we have now with our son have to use it as best as possible and not miss a single moment of its growth and development, which was really special. Commenting on her motivation for the event, the Duchess of Sussex said, "It can be really overwhelming to try to understand all the nuances of what's going on online. It's all-encompassing and affects us on a multi-faceted level." The people they spoke to helped them "look at it through a holistic approach".
The Duke of Sussex also says, "What happens in the online world affects the world. It's not limited to specific platforms or specific social media conversations or groups. This is a global crisis – a global crisis of hatred, a global misinformation crisis and a global health crisis. "
