Harry reveals how she was supposed to style herself when she first met Charles

According to Duchess Meghan, she had not previously googled the royal family, so she did not know how she should behave when she met King Charles and Queen Camilla for the first time. Prince Harry gave her instructions and now reveals what he advised her to do when he first met his dad.
Meeting your future in-laws for the first time is always going to be exciting. However, it should be even more exciting when it comes to the future monarch of Great Britain. For the then Meghan Markle, 41, it was not an easy task, but she had received tutoring from her current husband, Prince Harry, 39.

Because as he revealed in his memoirs “Spare” (German “Reserve”), he “rehearsed this moment several times” with Meghan. This tutoring included, among other things, practicing the right curtsy and how to address Charles correctly. And also for Camilla’s welcome, Prince William’s brother, 40, briefed his future wife. However, unlike his father, he recommended that she not curtsey when greeting. That is “not necessary”. “Just a quick kiss or a handshake” is enough.

And the former “Suits” actress also received extensive instruction when it came to styling. According to this, Meghan should wear her hair down and only wear a little make-up. Harry elaborated on the grounds that “Pa”, as he keeps calling King Charles in his memoirs, would like it if women wore their hair down. “Pa didn’t like women with heavy make-up,” Harry also warned his great love and recommended reduced make-up when it came to make-up.

Meghan complied with these recommendations, putting on little make-up, loose hair and “a black and white dress with a circle skirt that showed a floral pattern”. And indeed: Harry described the first meeting of Meghan, Charles and Camilla as a complete success. Unfortunately, this “joyful mood” didn’t last long…
