Duchess Meghan: Has she always planned to return to the United States?

Was it Duchess Meghan's secret plan never to stay in Britain? At least that's what a long-time Royal photographer claims.

Since April 1, 2020, Prince Harry (35) and Duchess Meghan (38, "Suits") are no longer senior royals. After the so-called "Megxit", the two said goodbye to the USA together with their son Archie (1). They live in the Los Angeles area. Long-time Royal photographer Arthur Edwards (79), in conversation with the British radio station "talkRADIO", now claims that it was never Meghan's plan to live in Great Britain in the long term.

"I think just as she married Harry, it said, 'All right, get out of here as fast as we can," said Edwards. According to him, all expenses for the expensive renovation of Frogmore Cottage, the British home of Meghan and Harry, were superfluous from the start. "She never planned to stay there," Edwards said.

Prince Harry has probably changed

Edwards has known Harry since he was a child. In recent years, the Royal has changed alongside Meghan. Harry had always been a "fabulous guy," "since he met her he has turned around."

For the photographer, Harry and Meghan in Los Angeles are "a flop". The two would become less and less important, but Edwards hoped that Harry would "comeback". At the same time, he believes Meghan will never return to Britain.
