Duchess Meghan loves the luxury lifestyle – even when it comes to travel. The former actress was particularly taken with one holiday destination, as she revealed herself.

As the wife of Prince Harry, 37, and part of the Royal Family, Duchess Meghan, 40, travels to the most beautiful and luxurious places in the world. But even before her marriage to the Duke of Sussex in 2018, she loved spending time exploring gorgeous islands and glamorous cities.

Duchess Meghan loves vacations on St. Barths

The then “Suits” actress gave insights into her lifestyle and preferences before her time as a duchess on her lifestyle blog “The Tig”, which she has stopped since her relationship with Prince Harry. In it, she revealed, according to the British “Hello!” also her favorite destination for a girls trip. She wrote about her time on Saint Barthelemy, a French-speaking Caribbean island commonly known as St. Barths.

The island delights tourists with paradisiacal beaches, luxury yachts, designer boutiques and chic restaurants. But St. Barths has even more to offer, which impressed the mother of two today. She loves the white sand island for its “Francophile sensibilities that are as island quintessential as they are chic, quiet beaches, authentic Creole food and a place where cobblestone walks and visits to French pharmacies rival those in Paris,” quoted “Hello! ” Meghan’s words.

Meghan described herself as a ‘mermaid’

She also wrote that her travels don’t necessarily have to be decadent, but that she relies on a healthy dose of luxury. Meghan, who calls herself ‘The Mermaid Who [ihre] Barely getting friends out of the water”, revealed that Grand Saline Beach is the ultimate spot for crystal clear waters and an incomparable island vibe.

And the food there also seems to have met the taste of the passionate gourmet. “Perhaps the best thing about Saline is that it’s a stone’s throw from Le Grain de Sel, an authentic Caribbean restaurant that serves up Creole classics,” she wrote, advising her readers: “Don’t miss out on this culinary gem , because the bites are as exciting as the holiday itself.”

Without question, St. Barths is “still a luxury travel destination, but with a little research you can relax from this hustle and bustle or dive right in – whatever you like, this island seems to have everything,” according to the American travel tip to their readership.

Rumors have been circulating for some time that Duchess Meghan wants to bring her lifestyle blog “The Tig” back to life. Most recently, however, the relaunch is said to have failed due to her missing signature for the trademark application.
