The first episode of Duchess Meghan’s podcast “Archetypes” can now be heard on Spotify. She greets Serena Williams in it.

Spotify offers users numerous exclusive podcasts. Now a special original for Royal fans has been added: Duchess Meghan (41) has music on the streaming service released the first episode of “Archetypes”..

That’s what Duchess Meghan’s podcast is about

In the episode, Meghan welcomes tennis star Serena Williams (40) as a guest. According to the description, the two talk about the double standards that women face when they are labeled “ambitious” – and what effects this can have on other areas of their lives. In addition, Dr. Laura Kray, expert on gender in the workplace, has her say. And Meghan’s husband, Prince Harry (37), also makes a brief appearance. Before things really got going, he stopped by the recording to say hello.

Meghan also talks about, among other things, how she was upset as a young girl when she saw an advertisement at the time. The Procter & Gamble group had advertised dishwashing detergent and aimed the clip purely at women. She wrote several letters, including to the then First Lady Hillary Clinton (74) – and Meghan actually managed to get the company to rethink.

Duchess Meghan is one of the executive producers of the podcast. In March it was announced that this should start in the summer. The podcast is part of an exclusive deal the Sussexes signed back in 2020. At the time, it was said that Meghan would speak to “historians, experts and special guests” in “Archetypes”, among other things, who should uncover the origins of prejudice and explain how it shapes our culture. “It’s about how we talk about women, the words our girls are raised with and the way the media reflects us women.”
