Because only a few days before the book was published on August 11, 2020, major changes were made to the official website of the British royal family. In Meghan's biography on the official website of the Royal Family, her title "HRH", which stands for "Her Royal Highness", has now been removed. Instead, she is simply called "she" or "the Duchess" in the text.

Meghan's official title
A paragraph in Megan's CV on the homepage explains the titles of the 38-year-old: "The official titles of the Duchess are Duchess of Sussex, Countess of Dumbarton and Baroness Kikeel." Right below the "Biography" section there is a gaping void on Meghan's side.
The other members of the royal family made no changes to their résumés. Even Prince Harry's has remained unchanged. The revision appears to have taken place as the couple resigned. "The website is updated regularly to reflect the work of members of the royal family," a Buckingham Palace spokeswoman told MailOnline.
