Duchess Meghan: only work with the A team?

After the "Megxit", Duchess Meghan (38, "Suits") apparently wants to work again as an actress. Corresponding rumors have been around for a long time. For example, it was rumored that she had set her agent to find a role for her in a superhero blockbuster. But Meghan doesn't want to get the hell out of every role imaginable. That explains at least one insider talking to the British "Daily Mail".

Duchess Meghan only wants to work with directors from the A-Riege – especially with Ava DuVernay (47, "Das Zeiträtsel"). This was revealed by an anonymous source from the film industry. Meghan is allegedly worried that the critics could be particularly tough on her. She wanted to be taken seriously as an actress and wanted to play a corresponding role.

No offer is good enough?

Numerous offers have already arrived at Meghan, who is now said to live in the Greater Los Angeles area with Prince Harry (35) and son Archie (10 months). But "she thinks the majority of them are too cheap or below their dignity," the insider explains. On the other hand, she has offers to advertise in Japan, which could prove to be very lucrative. The source says: "An advertising clip could be enough to pay their entire security team for a year. Meghan likes the idea that only the crème de la crème of the actors is offered this work."

Meghan has already taken a first step back to acting. In the new Disney animal documentary "Elefanten" she can be heard in the original version as a narrator. Since April 3, streaming users have been able to see the documentary on the recently launched Disney + service.
