The next low blow for Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan. The two got boos at the British National Television Awards when a clip of their legendary interview with Oprah Winfrey was shown.
Prince Harry, 36, and Duchess Meghan, 40, continue to decline in popularity. Just a few days ago, this was also shown in a “YouGov” opinion poll about the Royals. Only 34 percent of Britons believe in the couple. Meghan’s values are again significantly below. It is only popular with 26 percent of the British.

That was clearly shown once again at the “British National Television Awards”. After Sir Trevor McDonald, 82, presented the collection of the most iconic TV moments of the year, a cut of the Sussex’s famous interview with Oprah Winfrey, 67, was shown.
In the live broadcast, the loud calls were not heard, but some viewers of the show are said to have told “MailOnline” that there was loud hooting in the audience and loud boos could be heard when Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan appeared on the screen.
Popularity at rock bottom
A source from the audience is said to have said to “MailOnline”: “Meghan and Harry were shown during a montage of TV moments from the last twelve months on the screen. Immediately there were audible boos throughout the arena.”
The event in London’s O2 arena is the pinnacle of show business in Great Britain. At this event, there are also some stars in the audience. So it suggests that the popularity of the Sussexes has meanwhile also declined in the celebrity circles.
Duchess Meghan is even less popular with the British than Prince Harry
“MailOnline” mentions another, according to their data, famous source who does not want to be named: “Some people screamed and there was laughter. There were a few embarrassed faces, but unfortunately Meghan was obviously not too popular that evening.” The British seem to put the couple’s relegation on Meghan rather than Harry.
Not only is the gap between Harry, Meghan and the royal family widening, the British population is now seeing the couple increasingly negatively. After all, there are only just under a third of the British who are behind them.
