Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan apparently have many plans with the Netflix streaming service. An insider now reveals how things will continue with the two on the platform.
The couple has already caused a stir with their documentary series “Harry & Meghan”. Instead of continuing to be in front of the camera, the two want to work in the background from now on, as an insider reports “The Sun”. Harry and Meghan’s plans are much more far-reaching and include much more than just documentation.
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan: They want to create moments of well-being
The planned content should be fictional formats that are supposed to be funny and romantic. The focus should be on classic romantic comedies and films with a feel-good character. According to the insider, Prince Harry, 38, and Duchess Meghan, 41, have had enough of the limelight and would now rather be involved in new projects as producers. In these positions, they would continue their multi-year Netflix deal worth around £88million (around €98million).
Romantic comedy fans
Harry has already revealed in the past that he is a big fan of the series “Friends”. His wife also has a soft spot for romance films and has seen “Harry and Sally” several times, according to the insider. Because of the interest, the two probably came up with the new ideas. What exactly it will be and when the formats will be implemented remains unknown. Meghan has appeared as a producer in the past. Even before the Sussexes landed their first success with their documentary “Harry & Meghan”, the 41-year-old was involved in the animated series “Pearl”, which was canceled in May 2022.”
A documentary about the “Invictus Games”
However, another project is not long in coming. In the summer of 2023, the documentary series “Heart of Invictus” will be released, the content of which revolves around the “Invictus Games” created by Harry. It is a Paralympic sporting event for war-disabled soldiers. With this series and more in the pipeline, the future of the two at Netflix is definitely secure for now.
