In conversation with “Real Housewives” producer Andy Cohen, Duchess Meghan revealed whether the reality TV format would be something for her.

Duchess Meghan (41) has TV producer Andrew “Andy” Cohen (54) as a guest in the last episode of her podcast “Archetypes”. In the episode, which aired Tuesday (November 29), Cohen, who co-produces The Real Housewives franchise, explains that many fans wished the Duchess would join The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills” cast would follow.

“I said, ‘People, she’s not going to do that, she’s Meghan Markle!'” Cohen said. The 41-year-old laughed that she didn’t even know she wanted it, adding, “You really mean this is my audition for ‘Real Housewives of Montecito’? Is this the moment?” The host and producer replied, “You wouldn’t have to audition, we would build the show around you.” However, Prince Harry’s wife (38) made it clear afterwards: “There will be no reality show.” She had long been a big fan of the format, but stopped following Housewives “when my life got enough drama of its own,” Meghan said.

Waiting for the Netflix documentary

Duchess Meghan will soon be seen elsewhere on the TV screen. The Netflix docuseries about Prince Harry and Meghan is still a long time coming. As the US industry portal “Deadline” reports, the streaming service has allegedly decided not to publish the documentary format in December 2022, but only in 2023. The reason for this is said to be the criticism of the fifth season of the Netflix series “The Crown”. However, Page Six continues to reportthat the documentary will be released on December 8th. The documentary series is reportedly being produced by Netflix and Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Productions. Neither the title nor the broadcast date are officially known.

In addition to Andy Cohen, Trevor Noah (38) and Judd Apatow (54) can be heard in the current “Archetypes” episode. To date, Duchess Meghan has only had women on her podcast, whom she wanted to give the opportunity to “be heard and understood”. It was her husband’s idea to end up taking men’s views on gender issues into account.
