Duchess Meghan: She slips into the role of the interviewer

Duchess Meghan will soon slip into a new role: For a virtual summit, she will work as an interviewer.

Duchess Meghan (39) usually appears in public as a speaker or interviewee. Now the wife of Prince Harry (35) can slip into a different role: On August 14th, she will make her contribution to a virtual summit meeting and conduct an interview with Emily Ramshaw, a co-founder of The 19th, a non-profit news organization that mainly focuses on Women and Politics reports.

"The fact that The 19th is committed to reporting on people who are underrepresented is more important than ever," said the Duchess in a statement by the US magazine "Glamor". "I look forward to asking the co-founder what it means to build a media company whose core is gender equality, diversity and community." The organization, which is also hosting the summit, confirmed Meghan's participation on twitter. The Duchess will conclude the event, which will be supported by other prominent women, including Hillary Clinton (72), Kamala Harris (55), Melinda Gates (55) and Meryl Streep (71).
