Duchess Meghan’s first children’s book will hit the market in June. It’s based on Harry and Archie’s relationship.

Duchess Meghan (39) has written a children’s book that will be published in a few weeks. The book is titled “The Bench” and will be published on June 8th, as announced by the publishing house Random House. It is Meghan’s first children’s book and is inspired by the relationship between her husband Prince Harry (36) and their son Archie, who will celebrate his second birthday on May 6th.

“Special relationship between father and son”

The book captures “the special relationship between father and son from the eyes of a mother”, it says on the publisher’s homepage. In a statement, quoted from the British BBC, Meghan explains how the release came about. “The Bench started as a poem I wrote for my husband on Father’s Day, the month after Archie was born,” says the 39-year-old. “The poem has become this story.”

In addition to the story, “The Bench” also contains pictures by the award-winning illustrator Christian Robinson (34). In addition, an audio book version should appear that Meghan speaks himself. Meghan’s hope is that the book will be as well received by every family as it is by hers.
