Duchess Meghan, 39, who was born and raised in Los Angeles, has described herself several times in the past as a classic “California girl”. She grew up with the beach, the lukewarm climate and the casual fashion style of the US West Coast. No wonder that the wife of Prince Harry, 36, was able to score points in the past with her summery outfits.

Tassel earrings give every look a certain lightness

We have already seen them on Duchess Meghan’s ears several times: tassel earrings. The summer accessory is characterized by the bundle of threads – usually paired with a pretty gemstone. The threads are usually dyed in a striking color and are therefore eye-catchers for every look. They come into their own when the rest of the outfit is kept simple. Duchess Meghan, for example, combines the earrings with a white blouse dress.

Khaki ensures the perfect glow

Khaki is the perfect summer color – Duchess Meghan knows that too. In summer she usually puts on long, flowing dresses in the shade of green and thus underlines her complexion. And so can you. Because it lets every skin type shine in the right shade. Depending on the color, you can choose between beige or greenish nuances. In general, however, khaki is particularly flattering to warm skin tones. These include types with a yellowish to golden complexion with mostly brown, reddish or golden blonde hair.

Hardly any other shoe is as popular with Duchess Meghan (but also the other royals) as espadrilles. Why? The shoes with the raffia heel are comfortable, casual and above all stylish thanks to their cord binding on the ankle. A great combination and therefore also a perfect companion for almost any occasion. The shoe works best with dresses in midi length, so that the lacing is clearly visible.

Easy like a sunday morning: blouse dresses

By the way, blouse dresses have a very similar property to espadrilles. The 39-year-old knows that too: During the tour in South Africa as well as in Australia, Meghan, at Prince Harry’s side, almost exclusively relied on casual dresses with a continuous button placket. She preferred models with a waist belt, which also ensure a pretty silhouette.

Sun protection and it-piece in one: the Panama hat

Particularly light, breathable and yet water-repellent in humid climates: Panama hats are the ideal companion for a sunny day and give every outfit a casual touch. In the past, Duchess Meghan combined her Panama hat with eye-catching sunglasses in a suggested cat-eye shape, a summery blazer with a striped pattern and a black top. A look that we like to copy!
