Duchess Meghan can count on the help of numerous stars from her circle of friends for her birthday campaign “40×40”.

Duchess Meghan’s “40×40” campaign, which she launched on the occasion of her 40th birthday on August 4th, can be described as a kind of pyramid scheme for a good cause. The idea behind it: All participants donate 40 minutes of their time to provide advice and assistance to women who have lost or had to give up their jobs due to the corona pandemic. Then ask 40 friends to do the same. As the initiator, Prince Harry’s wife naturally made the start and more and more of her 40 chosen ones are now known.

As one of the first stars, the former First Lady of the United States, Hillary Clinton (73), confirmed her participation in “40×40” via Instagram. “If everyone contributes a little, a lot can change,” says Clinton with certainty. Meghan can also count on support from her previous royal life. In an Instagram story by Princess Eugenie (31), which the “Daily Mail” captured by screenshot, Prince Harry’s cousin also said yes to the campaign.

Star power for a good cause

British newspapers want to have identified a total of 26 of Meghan’s 40 friends. Including superstar Adele (33), who has not yet committed to the campaign on social media, but is said to have done so in a statement published by the Duchess of Sussex. And actress Melissa McCarthy (50) already helped her good friend Meghan to launch the campaign in the first place via video announcement.

Other prominent names include actresses Sarah Paulson (46), Gabrielle Union (48) and Priyanka Chopra (39), singer Ciara (35), fashion designer Stella McCartney (49) and writer and activist Amanda Gorman (23).
