She cannot attend the funeral. Nevertheless, Duchess Meghan would like to say goodbye to Prince Philip with dignity.

Duchess Meghan (39) cannot travel to Great Britain for the funeral of Prince Philip (1921-2021) due to her pregnancy. Nevertheless, she would like to say goodbye to the grandfather of her husband Prince Harry (36). She will take “private precautions” for this, as Buckingham Palace has confirmed, according to “The Sun”.

Since the funeral due to the corona pandemic will take place on a small scale – only 30 guests are allowed to be present – there will be a special livestream for Meghan and other family members. This will also be broadcast to the general public. However, members of the family will receive their own login details. This enables them to see the funeral service without reporting or expert voices.

Doctors have advised Meghan against the trip

Meghan originally wanted to accompany Prince Harry to the funeral. However, doctors advised the 39-year-old, who is currently expecting her second child, from the long journey. Harry arrived in the UK a few days ago. After his arrival, the 36-year-old went to Frogmore Cottage in self-isolation. Prince Philip’s funeral will take place on Saturday (April 17th) in St. George’s Chapel.
