Duchess Meghan’s appearance on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” pleased the fans, but the British royal family is said to be alarmed mainly because of one of her statements.
When Duchess Meghan, 40, was a guest on the show by Ellen DeGeneres, 63, on November 18, 2021, she chatted happily from the sewing box. So she talked about daughter Lilibet Diana, 5 months, and revealed that she had started teething and also showed a sweet new picture of Archie, 2.
In the course of the interview, Meghan also reveals that she and Prince Harry, 37, have an intimate relationship with Princess Eugenie, 31. According to a Royal expert, this statement is said to have worried the British royal family.
Duchess Meghan: Friendship with Eugenie triggered “alarm bells”
In an interview with her Montecito neighbor Ellen, Duchess Meghan not only reveals which cute costumes her children wore on Halloween this year, she also tells an anecdote from times past. Just before Harry and Meghan’s relationship became public, they attended a Halloween party in Toronto in 2016 with Eugenie and her current husband, Jack Brooksbank, 31. Because of the costumes, the four were able to enjoy a fun evening unrecognized, Meghan said.
From this story it emerges that the Sussexes are still friends with Princess Eugenie – apparently a cause for concern for British royalty. According to Royal expert Neil Sean, Meghan did Harry’s cousin a disservice with her Ellen interview. “Meghan herself has now thrown someone very high within the British royal family in hot water,” he says on his YouTube channel “Neil Sean’s Daily News Headlines”. And further: “That really set off some alarm bells among high-ranking members of the British monarchy.”
“This is now a problem for Princess Eugenie”
After the explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, 67, in March 2021, the Royal Family is extremely nervous about Harry and Meghan. Since then, it has been worrying to even be associated with the Sussexes, explains Neil Sean.
Meghan spoke fondly of Eugenie to Ellen, but that did not reduce the prevailing concern. “This is now a problem for Princess Eugenie because all high-ranking members of the British royal family are very nervous when anything comes back to Meghan and Harry. They basically want to monetize everything and talk about how bad the family is,” falls Neil Sean his harsh judgment.
