The reason is a very topical one: The palace never protected her from negative reporting, in contrast to a very fresh case with Kate. Meghan feels let down by the British royal court on this topic. With Duchess Kate, there are regular public statements that the tabloids publically regulate. Just a few days ago, Kensington Palace sent a statement in which an article was labeled "inaccurate and wrong". However, this never happened to her.
For Harry, too, this was "a slap in the face," according to the alleged insider. He had asked the court several times for such statements, but had repeatedly fallen on deaf ears.
