Duchess Meghan: why is she now posting old pictures from London?

During her brief stopover in London in early January, Duchess Meghan (38) apparently visited an animal welfare organization. Until now, this date had remained secret. But now there are two pictures of it on the official Instagram account of Meghan and her husband Prince Harry (35), "Sussexroyal".

"Earlier this month, the Duchess of Sussex visited the wonderful people at Mayhew to hear about the incredible progress that was made during the holidays," said the photos showing the 38-year-old with a staff member and a dog. Meghan has been the organization's patron since January 2019.

That is why there is criticism

In addition to numerous admiring comments and good wishes for the future, the post also received criticism on Instagram. Users complained several times that Harry and Meghan continue to call their account "Sussexroyal" when they no longer wanted to be royals. The couple had announced in early January that they wanted to withdraw from the front row of the royal family and want to become financially independent. The palace later announced that the two would no longer take on official duties for the Royals from the spring. Harry and Meghan, who have since retired to Canada, will keep their private patronage.

Other negative comments relate to the time of Meghan's recent Instagram post. Just recently, Duchess Kate (38) had started a national survey on the development of young children and also announced this on Instagram. "So you had these pictures for almost a month, but did you publish them during the announcement of Kate's project? Interesting," one user writes about Meghan's photos. Others also spoke of an "interesting coincidence".
